(Teoriya Resheniya Izobretatelskikh Zadach).
TRIZ is considered as one of the most profound inventions of 20th century,
which is now used by thousands of organizations around the world
for innovative problem solving.
TRIZblog is a part of TRIZsite and was
running under the heading of TRIZsite. But as the number of
interactive modules in TRIZsite increased it was decided
to group all interactive modules under one heading called "TRIZblog" for
convenience.
To be precise, TRIZblog gives your freedom to
create your personal homepage, publish
your articles directly, create topics and post comments on other topics
in the discussion forum, Post examples of problems, contradictions,
TRIZ principles, Trends, Inventions etc. and post all your
TRIZ related news here. The following are the recent entries under
various sections of TRIZblog.

The tools and methods of TRIZ were also developed keeping their application in similar technical fields. Now the question arises whether the concepts and principle of TRIZ are applicable in other fields or not? ...
In my understanding, TRIZ is a method of high level of commonsense and can be applied in any field, whether social, economical, technical or spiritual.

The concept of patentability is very vague in the legal system. It is important to assess the patentability of your invention before filing the patent in order to reduce the risk of rejection. This article describes the components and mechanism of patentability assessment.
The patents cannot protect each and every conception of an invention. The invention must fulfil certain criteria to be patentable. Patentability criteria are different in different countries. This article compares the criteria for patentability by different countries and judicial systems.
United States patent law prescribes three major criteria of patentability, viz, novelty, usefulness and non-obviousness. These "three tests of patentability" are fundamentals behind issue of any patent from USPTO. It is important to know this fundamental for any person who intends to work on patents.
